renderings of the new 5 auditorium multiplex here. (this is a pdf file)

   Jungceylon

"Jungceylon" was the name used for Phuket back in 1511 when it was a fertile and prosperous port town embraced by the Andaman Sea.

Now the name returns as a world class shopping and entertainment destination in traditional Sino-Portuguese style on Pattong Beach. The center will revive Phuket's great history and reputation and hopefully make it better known around the world.

Owned by Phuket Square Company Ltd., the complex uses over 200,000 square meters of space, with 200 shops in retail space of 75,000 square meters all in a lush tropical setting.

A 5 Star 400-room hotel the Millennium Resort Phuket, anchors the 1,100 square meters of the center in a special Health & Spa Zone.

  AMW International

Headed up by award winning international entertainment journalist Scott Rosenberg, AMW helps bridge the gap between the film industries of Thailand, the Asian region and Hollywood and Europe.

By gathering information, providing select information to clients and widely disseminating items of interest to the international entertainment community, AMW serves as a unique boutique news bureau based in Bangkok.

Phuket Film Festival director/programmer Scott Rosenberg headed up Thailand's first film festival at the BOI Fair in Lamchabong in 1995. A frequent participant on film festival juries and visitor to festivals around the world, Mr. Rosenberg hopes the Phuket Festival will be one of "sanook" (fun) for all film lovers as well as a showcase of quality Thai film for the international community to appreciate.

An article on Scott appeared in the April, 2004 issue of Asia Image. You can read that here. (pdf file)
